GREAT FALLS MODEL RAILROAD CLUB
OPERATION LIFESAVER TRAINING CLASS 9/18/10
Seven Great Falls Model Railroad Club members and one non-member received their Operation Lifesaver Presenter certification after completing their training at a one-day workshop held at the club building, 144 Mill Street, Auburn. Operation Lifesaver is an international volunteer organization whose purpose is to educate individuals and groups about railroad safety. Norma Griffiths of Montreal, Maine and Atlantic Railway (MMA) and Mike Grizkewitsch from the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) were the instructors for this training session.

After taking a written test, each class member gave a ten-minute talk on railroad safety, using props and display charts to make their presentations more interesting.
